How long do I have access to the property?

When you book with La Charrette Farm, the space belongs exclusively to you and your guests during the weekend of your event.  You will have access for 5 hours the day before your event, 12 hours the day of your event, and 4 hours the day following your event.  This ensures you have ample time for rehearsal, event preparation, ceremony and reception, and decoration pick-up.

Are any decorations prohibited?

GIven the careful restoration of the barn, cabins, and farmhouse, no adhesives, permanent or otherwise, are allowed.  Open flame candles, confetti, silly string, glitter, shredded material and rice are also prohibited.  Fireworks are allowed when pre-approved and supplied by a licensed firework supplier.

What is the role of the day-of event coordinator?

Our team will meet with you twice prior to your wedding day to discuss table set up, ceremony and  reception timeline , and other details of your event as it relates to the venue.  They are not responsible for decorating the venue, or booking your vendors.  However, they are onsite for each event to help your ceremony and reception run smoothly.

What is your capacity?

The optimal  capacity is 150 or fewer guests to ensure fully enclosed seating for both the ceremony and reception in case of inclement weather.

Can I bring in outside food or alcohol? Do you have preferred vendors?

Only approved caterers are authorized to bring food and alcohol on the premises. No outside coolers or outside alcoholic beverages are allowed. A list of vendors with whom we have enjoyed working can be provided.

What is the price to rent the venue?

The standard price for a Saturday ceremony and reception is $8,000.  This includes access to the venue for the weekend, tables and chairs, day-of coordination support, bridal suite and groom cabin.  Perfect ambiance in a private setting also included.
